.: Technology Across the Curriculum :.

[Elementary] [Middle School] [High School]

The mission of the Pan American School Technology Program is to provide students an active participation in their learning process through the integration of various forms of technological information.  The curriculum is designed so that students acquire technology skills, apply these skills within the different disciplines, and develop broad competencies such as: problem solving, reasoning, creativity, communication, making connections, and learning how to learn.  To accommodate a diverse student population, teachers use technology to extend, modify, remediate, and/or enhance instruction.

As a result of the Pan American School Technology Program, students will: (1) use technology as a communication tool; (2) apply reasoning skills to a variety of situations and problems; (3) collect, analyze, and/or apply information using appropriate resources; (4) act responsibly in relation to self, others, equipment, and materials; and (5) use appropriate technology directly related to the 21st century workplace/environment.
